RT65 Ragnarok - 65M Class Trimaran
Our RT65 Race Trimaran 'Ragnarok' and RT65R Race Trimaran 'Armageddon' are the first production 65M class trimarans worldwide. They were realized with the professional help and profound data provided by Ernst Zemann who has been designing multihulls for more than 20 years.
The RT65 is a stable design and is able to sail on one float securely without an ongoing tendency to flip over. It is not a toy boat, it is a true racing trimaran that matches the larger sized Mini40 trimarans in any way.
Our RT65 is a very good choice for beginners, it can be sailed with a standard rig in light and medium winds, for stronger winds a smaller rig should be used.
Free plans can be downloaded here.
Boat Data:
- hull lenght 650mm
- beam 650mm
- epoxy-fiber glass floats , weight about 135g each - without primer 90g each
- epoxy-fiber glass main hull , weight about 145g - without primer 100g
